Est. 2012 · Rocklin · Family Owned
Son & Daughter's Lawn and Pool Service began with one man, one truck, and a promise to leave the land better than he found it. Today it's a fully electric, regenerative practice — and a family name passed to the next generation.
The Acevedo Family
A father-and-son practice built on early mornings, electric equipment, and the belief that a lawn should be heard less and felt more. Gerardo founded the studio in 2012; Daniel carries it forward today.
Zero-emission equipment · Regenerative soil care · A family you can call by name.
2012
Gerardo Acevedo starts a one-truck operation in Rocklin, mowing lawns before sunrise so the neighborhood never hears a thing. The rule is simple: leave the land better than you found it.
2015
Gerardo trades the gas mower for the first battery-powered rig. Neighbors stop coming outside to ask what the noise was — because there isn't any.
2019
The work shifts from maintenance to stewardship: native pollinator strips, mulch-cycling, soil rebuilding. The studio becomes known for land that gets richer each season.
2022
Gerardo's son Daniel picks up the electric backpack blower for the first time. He grew up on these lawns — now he's learning the craft his father built.
2024
The family renames the studio to honor both children. The all-electric fleet is complete: zero emissions, zero fuel, zero noise pollution across every job.
2026
Daniel Acevedo steps into day-to-day operations, carrying two decades of family stewardship into a quieter, greener generation. Gerardo still walks the lawns at dawn.
We walk every property in person before we ever touch a blade of grass.
